Yes, that's right.

I guess this painting has a little bittersweet memory for me -- I had not heard of it before I went to Madrid in October and I specially went to see it.

When this company name (8-5) is mentioned, most people associate it with this very well-known American drink (9).

The founder (8,5) of this company was born in (town: 6) in (country: 7) and immigrated to the US at age 18. The company's name was a combination of his last name & his wife's family name.

He also built a hotel in (non-european city: 6) named after him.

There is also a shipwreck named after him, apparently sunk intentionally for scuba diving.

Person: 8,5 ("s" = last letter of first name)
Company: 8-5
Drink: 9 ("s" = 7th)
Hometown: 6

"s" from Bosch

You're missing Adolphus Busch's home town (in order to make it European-themed).

Clue: Document (name: 5, 5) signed in (year: 5 letters -- use Roman numerals, M = 1000, CM = 900, D = 500, C = 100, etc.) and negotiated here (place: 9 letters), which limited the power of (person: 4, 4).

2nd letter of Place = "u."

I guess that would be King John, signing the Magna Carta at Runnymede in the year MCCXV (1215).

I guess it did help. I didn't spend much time researching the clue before I went to sleep. When I got up, you posted the hint already.

So, the easy way to do this is to type "chandelier" into Google news and search -- out comes this article:

http://www.nydailynews.com/entertain...p-217234c.html

My office building is actually just blocks away from this omnipresent snowflake....

The designer is Ingo Maurer, from Germany.

The company is Baccarat in France, famous for crystal.

Didn't know that it took its name from a village.

My boss was taking his time to leave today, so I couldn't really work on the clue. But he's gone now, yippee.

Maybe you should head over. It's only another 3 hours... and you can catch a glimpse of Ms. SJP.

I've never heard of Ingo Maurer until today. He as quite a cool website, and next time I'm in NYC, I'll pop into his store to check it out.

Who's Ms. SJP?

I don't think that I want to be here that late....

I don't know him either. Where's the store located?

Didn't you read the article? It's Sarah Jessica Parker.

Ingo Maurer store is 89 Grand St, corner of Greene.

You know, yk, I usually only skim enough of these articles to get the answers to the clues.

Anyway, I don't care a thing about SJP or much about Hollywood stars in general.

agnes b is located on Greene, by the way, and there's a Le Pain Quotidien on Grand. The prices in that neighborhood also make my blood pressure rise.
