Well, a race (!) of course.

We just had the NYC Marathon on Sunday, as you know.

So you get the next clue. I thought this one would take a little longer. Guess not.

This classical musician (trying to be vague) was most famous for his interpretation of the music by (composer: 4 letters).

He later moved to this town (6) in this country (6) due to a self-imposed exile. The town hosts an annual festival (which bears his name) that was started by him over half a century ago.

He played for both Roosevelt (1904) & JFK (1961). Read about it yesterday when I visited the Sixth floor museum.

What Sixth Floor museum?

I didn't know that he played for Roosevelt, actually.

I think that some of his recordings were made at the Library of Congress, but I'm not sure if they're easily available.
