Europe: Where to go in October
Im planning a 2 week vacation to Europe in October with my boyfriend. I have been to Europe before during summer, but it is his first time there. I want to know about the weather in October, which countries to visit and any recommendations about Europe in October.

October is THE perfect month for Europe. You can go everywhere: to southern Europe (which is too hot in summer) and to northern Europe (which is still nice in October). In Germany, Netherlands, Northern France you will have foliage and wine harvest, in southern Europe you will find mild mediterranean climate. In other words: In October, you can go whereever you want. What do you like to do? What are your criteria for an exciting trip?

I agree, Andalucia in Spain is lovely in October. If you are still looking for places to stay I would highly recommend a really different experience, staying in a tipi! I stayed at Altiplano Tipis earlier this year, a beautiful tipi site an hour from Granada. Have a look here: www.altiplanotipis.com Enjoy your trip!

I love Tuscany in October! It's almost the perfect temp for sightseeing, etc. Stay in the Siena area and take a day trip to Florence! There is so much to explore, like Pienza, Montalcino, Cortona! If you like to eat good food and drink great wine, this is the place for you!!!!
