Europass or individual tickets?
I am planning a trip to Europe for the fall. our trip will span over 3 weeks and will look something like this.
Fly in to London
London-Paris
Paris->Amsterdam
Amsterdam-> Prague
Prague->Rome
So, the question is would it be better to get the flex rail pass for my husband and I or should we just go ahead and by individual tickets? I know we can buy the pass for around $1500.00 but have to pay for reservations. We are planning out the trip, so we shouldn't need to change dates of arrival or departure, but am just looking for a little guidance!
Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Kat,
My guess is to by point-to-point.
However,
Start at www.railsaver.com. Input your itinerary for 2 people and click "only if it saves money".
If they say that you don't need a railpass you can believe them.
London-Paris www.eurostar.com you can often find discount daypasses (sometimes RT is cheaper than 1 way)
Paris->Amsterdam www.voyages-sncf.com Use the French language site. English will take you to RailEurope.
Amsterdam-> Prague http://www.ns.nl/reisplanner-v2/index.shtml?language=en
Prague->Rome www.trenitalia.com click English You can get the price from them and buy the ticket in Prague.
Enjoy your visit.

PS, With only 3 weeks I would skip Amsterdam and Prague.
Fly into London, Train to Paris, fly to Rome (see www.whichbudget.com)/. Spend a week in each.
Visit Amsterdam and Prague along with Copenhagen and Berlin.

Ira,
Thank you so much for your ideas! I will will look at them a bit later today! Very much appreciated.
As for skipping Amsterdam and Prague, I wouldn't mind skipping Amsterdam, but my husband really wants to go! Prague is a must for us both though. We are planning on taking a train overnight from Amsterdam to Prague so that we don't waste an entire day traveling... but want to take the train through the Alps to Rome so we can see the sights!
Again thank you for your ideas!
