EURODISNEY Is it worth a look?

I'll be in Paris for six day in October and was wondering if Pari/Euro Disney is worth a look. I love the rollocaster type rides and the general Disney things. I have also always wanted to travel to Disneland in the States, Is it similar?

Thanks in advance

We visited EuroDisney in June and were very disappointed, its expensive to get in and most of the rides are disappointing. My advice would be that if you like big rides, go to Alton Towers, if you like Disney got to one of the Disney Stores in this country !

I worked at Disneyland as a Tour Guide while in college and have visited both Disney World and EuroDisney. EuroDisney is a 45 minute Metro ride from downtown Paris. When I was there in 1993, admission was $40USD pp and I'm sure it's even higher now. If you have never been to Paris before, I recommend focusing on the the city sites, including Versaille. You will find plenty to keep you busy for 6 days. If you've already done Paris or if you think that you may not have an opportunity to visit either of the U.S. Disney parks, then go to EuroDisney. Plan on entire day and evening to experience it all. Keep in mind that it may be raining and any amusement park in the rain is no fun. As far as Disney rollercoasters are concerned, they are tame compared to some of the "white knucklers" in other amusement parks. All the Disney parks, however, are more than just rides. They are total theme parks with different "lands" and lots of flowers and trees. They are exceptionally clean, well run, and safe. Though they are fairly similar (the main differences are in overall scale and acreage), the DisneyWorld in Florida offers much, much more than just the theme park and rides so you might enjoy that more if you have a chance to get to the states.
