Traveling each of 15 days and that would make the 15-day concseutive pass probably a great deal! I have done that and longer but would not recommend it for the average tourist who is not a rail nut, like moi.

There are many of us who believe that 19€ (16€ at night) for an iDTGV train, booked in advance, is a lot cheaper than paying 43€ plus the cost of the reservation fee.>
fine if OP was traveling only in France but in other countries could pay much much more than 43 euros for a ticket. and you obviously can book weeks in advance and then not have to or be able to change nor refund I believe - are 19 euro tickets available always - not I think unless you book 3 or 4 months in advance? Is that true?
Believe it or not some folks like flexibility to chose which trains to take once they are in France, etc - and full fare fully flexible tickets say from Paris to Provence would cost a whole lot more than 43 euros.
So yes if the conditions fit you and you can book months in advance and lock yourself in then in France 19 euros is better than 43 euros but you are rather comparing apples to oranges IMO - when you talk about 19 euro tickets you should mention their restrictions and not just some general blah blah 19 euros is better than 43 euros IMO - state what the limitations are - how far in advance they typically must be bought (I don't know maybe you can get them more readily then I think but many posts here say you have to book them weeks if not months in advance - is that true?
But compared to full fares 43 euros is an absolute bargain for typical trips someone on a multi-country trip would take.
