Enforex Spanish Language School
Enforex, a Spanish school in Spain (at various locations) offers a summer camp program for kids. I am thinking of enrolling my 13 and 11 year old boys.
There is a day camp (9 am - 8 pm) or they can just go for about 4 hours in the morning for language classes. (There is also a residential option, which we are not considering.)
The kids are 60% Spanish (learning English) and 40% non-Spanish (learning Spanish). It sounds like a neat cross-cultural experience.
Does anyone have anything they can tell me about Enforex? sending pre-teens to summer camp in Spain?
Also, do you think a summer camp in Spain would be as well supervised as one in the US? (That sounds like a dumb question, but I hope you know what I mean...)

Yes, thanks. I did find many posts on Enforex classes for high school and college aged folks. I was wondering specifically about their summer camp program for younger kids. Sending an 11 year old some place is quite different from sending an 18 year old.

A couple of years ago I was considering to send my son to an Enforex camp in Salamanca( he was 13-14 at the time). When I e-mailed them and asked them about references (names/ e-mails of parents) they refused. That just didn't seat well with me. I ended sending my son with another organization( I think the minimum age was 13) that was happy to provide me with references.

Hi,
My son attended the TASIS school program. TASIS stands for The American School in Switzerland. They are a boarding school with locations in Switzerland, France, Italy, UK and Greece.
In the summer(July) they take a group of kids to Spain, mainly in Salamanca.
Classes as well as accommodation are in a convent they rent. It is in a great location , just a block or two from the beautiful Plaza.
Checkout their website at:

I just wanted to add that my husband and I visited our son while at the school and we met the director and the teachers, We were very happy ith them and our son really enjoyed his time there.
The one problem I'll point out is that since they don't stay with spanish families they revert back to speaking english the minute the bell rings!
