Ending our cruise in Lisbon - need advice
My husband and I will be ending a cruise in Lisbon. We will spend one night there (on the ship) and then disembark the ship the next morning probably between 9 and 9:30. Our flight is not until 6 pm so we are considering hiring a driver (as we will have our luggage) to take us on a 4-5 hour tour. We would appreciate any suggestion! Also, does the Lisbon International Airport have a VIP lounge? Thank you

<BR>Helene, on our trip there last year we hired an English speaking taxi driver for a couple hours the first day to take us around. It was very cheap and we were able to see alot, and also get out and walk around. If you have 4-5 hours, possibly you could squeeze in nearby Sintra and see the palace. I wish you had more time in Lisbon and surrounding area - very enjoyable. I don't recall a vip lounge at the airport but your airline should be able to tell you. Have a great trip.

Don't bother going to Sintra, it's great, don't get me wrong, however Lisbon is wonderful! Don't take time away from enjoying Lisbon. I would walk around the downtown, go up to either the castle or Barrio Alto for an incredible view and maybe check out Alfalma (watch out for pickpockets.) have a great time!
