For flights: consider "open jaw" (aka multi-city) and specify ONLY the starting and ending points -- let the system determine what routing makes most sense! That might be through Zurich, it might not, and there's no reason for you to force the routing through one place or another. And if you put it all on one ticket, then if your first flight is delayed (or any flight prior to a final destination), then it's generally up to the airline to move you onward.

Overit: Appreciate your sharing where you stayed. Seem people go to Greece more than once. We have traveled all over and can't believe we bypassed Greece as it sounds fantastic. Good luck with your next trip.

I’ll second the recommendation of ThalaSea Studios. Yannis and Marianna who own the hotel are very nice people. ThalaSea is in a good location overlooking Psaraliki Beach, a few steps from the Pounta ferry landing, and at the edge of town. The hotel is only about 4 years old and built to a high standard.
