Elizabeth line toBond street

Going to London end of month and staying the Bo tree hotel for 3 nights. Have not used the Elizabeth line as our last visit to the UK in March was just Cotswolds. Normally take Just airports but we are arriving at 8:35 pm Thursday and wondering if it would just be easier and cheaper just to take the Elizabeth Line to Bond street as the hotel looks like it is just about a block away from the station. Any thoughts?

I took the Elizabeth line from LHR back at the start of October when I visited London.
Super easy.
I dont know why you would want to pay for a car service when the train is right there at the airport taking you into London.
I had a visa card loaded with pounds and I just tapped on and off to pay.

I often use car services - mostly Just Airports. But for that location the Elizabeth line is a total no brainer. Cheaper and faster than a car service and a 2 minute walk from the station. The biggest hassle will be the walk to the train at the LHR end.

. . . whenever using the Elizabeth Line, I've just used my already existing Oyster card (I think it just finished it's 15th trip to/through London)

Try if you can to sit towards the rear of the train. The Elizabeth line trains have 9 carriages and it’s quite a hike between one end and the other. Bond St has an exit at either end of the platform and your hotel is nearer the rear one. The exit at the front is virtually at Oxford Circus.

We also have Oyster cards we've been using for a few years, and sometimes I prefer to have that handy rather than pulling out a credit card. Oyster works to LHR, but we learned the hard way last month that Oyster is not accepted on the Elizabeth Line west of West Drayton. We tapped in with ours at Tottenenham Ct. Road and tried to tap out at Slough, and they didn't work there (we heard recordings about that once on the train). You need to use another contactless payment type if going, say, to Windsor.

Yes - the machines at the tube station. Very straightforward.

Whilst that is true there should also be machines at the Elizabeth Line station as well - that and the underground station are in different locations.

Correct -- I had first posted just 'station' but for some reason went back and added 'tube'. (probably brain fade because it was at 00:26 my time and I should have been long asleep ) The machines in both stations work.
