Poland uses 230 Volts, 50 Hz with the European plug -- two round prongs. Your appliances would need to be dual voltage and you would need a plug converter. For small appliances you can use a voltage transformer to change it from 230, but I wouldn't recommend it with the curling iron.

Can't find a socket adapter? Buy a replacement plug at Tesco. Either cut off your plug or add a second line and then install the Polish plug. Too difficult? Inquire at an electrical shop. I have yet to find socket adapters here in Poland! Buy them before you leave home.
