Electric wall plug

What kind of prongs do you need in Italian hotels? (Not voltage converters, but prongs)

Mostly Schuko, Euro-Plug and (sometimes) vintage types.

You need a standard Continental-type adapter plug which has two round prongs about 1/8" in diameter. The same plugs work in Paris, Brussels, Germany and all over the continent. Note: most hotels will have hair dryers. Laptops can work on the European electrical current--you just need an adapter plug.

Here are the URL's of two sites which describe (including illustrations) the sockets and plugs used all over the world, including of course, Italy.
