Eiffel Tower changes color...
Is it my browser or is the feed from www.paris-live.com showing la tour Eiffel with a green bottom half lately? Anyone out in Fodorville know why? Curious minds want to know... Thanks, EJ

Rugby World Cup month. Why green, je ne sais pas.

Maybe just a coincidence, but the colours on the webcam look very like the Australian rugby strip.
Of course, they should really light it in a tartan effect now to mark Scotland's fantastic football victory in Paris tonight.

Merci Robespierre. I guess we'll be seeing une tour verte when we're in Paris mid-October. I'm afraid I know very little about this sport, so I've no idea either why the color green is symbolic of rugby. Thanks again for getting the information. EJ
