Can you be more specific about the Patricia Wells app? I'm not familiar with it.

LCB, try this. http://www.patriciawells.com. I don't know why itunes does not list it in search mode. I think I paid $4.99 but well worth it. Mary

We dined at anglo friendly Fish La Boissonneriep, 69 rue de Seine last night. We were told they were filled when we called but that we should come at 7pm and sit at the bar until a table opened. We arrived and were promptly seated at a table. The starter, plat, dessert offering was e38. Food was creative and well prepared by friendly staff. It's on our return list.

We struck up conversation with four Americans next to us. The waiter overheard me telling them of my purchase of fresh anchovies and idea on how to prepare them. No, madame, he said. Do not cook them but marinate them in lemon juice and a bit of oil and serve on baguette! I was very grateful. Buying the limes today.

As a foodie, I finished an enjoyable read called http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Art-...vidleboviswebs

We went to Musee d'orsay and did the fifth floor where they have moved all the impressionists. Waited in line in the rain for 45 min. But so worth it. Mentally I cannot do too many museums in a short period so purchasing the pass isn't for us.

Finally! Sun arrived about noon while having lunch at Breizh Cafe. Loved my buckwheat crepe with artichokes, ham, gruyere and poached egg on top! We shared a yozu ice cream w strawberries gallette for dessert. Hope to return before we leave.

It's located on a shop filled street and was busy for a Sunday afternoon. We wanted to stay outdoors so strolled up to Louvre via rue Rivoli and then back to i'le de la Cite and listened to a German band at Notre Dame's bandstand. Great people watching. Worked our way to sainte Michelle with a wine stop and more people watching.
