You may need to tell her how to access her history, lawchick.

cig, I'll try to help you get started until lawchick answers.

At the top of your screen, do you have a Toolbar with the back arrow, a red x, a house, star, etc?

If so, the little round thing (a clock face with a green arrow going counterclockwise) is the History icon.

Click on it and see if something pops up to the left of your screen.

It is obvious I've created a monster.

Enjoy!

...nah, no monster.

I did, however, have to go google "Frakkin Cylons"

This is fantastic! Robespierre & lawchick, you deserve a round of applause.

OK, a question: if you edit an "old" post, does the date/time stay as it originally was?

Yes. The time stamp is created the first time you preview or post. Even if you edit before posting, the time is frozen at the original value.

OK, another question: how come I can access some but not others. Like I'm trying to access a double post I addressed to Suki this morning, but I can't access it. Whereas I have no trouble accessing the post I addressed to you yesterday about editing posts. (I'm a technijjit, I admit it.)

Trainable....but slow to catch on... Okay NOW I get it--thank you! It's the feature I've been dreaming about for years, lol.

See -- dreams do come true, AnnMarie!

We can thank our fairy godparents, Robes & law, for this one.

cigale, I'm a near-Luddite, so ... maybe my experience might help.

On my screen, there are a bunch of choices at the top:
File.Edit.View.Go.Bookmarks.Tools.Help

If I click on "Go," a window opens up, and it has a bunch of stuff in it, including the ability to click on my Fodors Edit Reply. When I click on that, the window w/my post in it is there, and I can then Preview and Edit.

ADDitionally: I can click on Go, scroll down to History, & open up previous day's hits. The only ones that are postable, though, are the ones that say something like "Fodor.com>Travel Talk," not the ones that say Fodor's Travel Guides.

I hope I'm not making it more confusing.

I failed to mention that this technique doesn't work unless you edited the message before posting. If you go straight for "Post My Reply," it won't work.

So (obviously, I guess) you can't go back to the Preview pane unless you previewed.
