Robes has posted something silly (dare I say stupid) a time or two and when called on it has deleted his misinformation. So he has made good use of this feature.

Can you go back a day or so after and change a post? Or even if you close the browser window?

This kindof reminds me of 1984 - and the thought police going back to change history.

lawchick, how did you change a post from last week?

How did you "activate" the post you wanted to edit?

starrsville,
I had no idea that was possible myself!

I swear I just saw a reply from lawchick that said something like:
"History...Cylons"

Now it's...well...gone.
Curiouser and curiouser yet!

Yep.
When she first posted it said just "history".
Now, both versions are gone.

Access your history - ie from last week (if you keep it that long on your computer) and do it from there.

But - it seems - the usual rules about time travel apply - when you start messin' with the past (ie your history) everything gets frackked up. I managed to edit very old posts and then I couldn't edit my newer ones. So when I tried it then with the newer ones - it didn't work and edited messages came up as new ones and this annoyed some people with no sense of humour.

Now I can't get rid of some of my cylon positing. Frak!
