Edinburgh in Oct - Pre-book Sightseeing?
I'm visiting Edinburgh early October and considering touring Edinburgh Castle, Holyroodhouse Palace, and Stirling Castle (day trip). Not having been to Scotland before and not knowing the crowd situation, I am wondering if it's recommended to pre-book and/or pre-purchase tickets for these particular sites.
Also, I'm aware of the Explorer Pass but seems only Edinburgh and Stirling Castles would be my only sites, only saving me 6 pounds, unless I am missing something entirely it does not seem to be that great of savings.
Thanks in advance!

Absolutely no need to prebook any sites in Edinburgh (or anywhere in Scotland really)
The Explorer Pass is a wonderful deal -- but only if you are touring around a bit more then just Edinburgh and Stirling Castles. If you wanted to visit Linlithgow or St Andrews then yes, otherwise no need to buy the Explorer Pass
