Eating in Europe

In general, you will find the most beautiful fruits and vegetables in Europe. Stock up in any ol market for snacks any time! As for restaurants, well, the best parts of the Alpine cooking for me are the cheeses and spaetzle based things! But the "grills" are popular too! It would certainly work for an Atkins-type diet! The salads and veggies will be great in the restaurants, and not too much is deep fried anyway. Breakfast might be tricky with the cold cuts and granolas; I'd stick with a soft boiled egg and roll with jam. And don't "they" say a glass of wine lowers cholesteral?!
Try to stay in places with a mini-fridge in the room and keep your healthy foods and snacks handy. Eat a few snacks throughout the day and maybe just one restaurant meal. I am sure they will have some good food choices for you.

Hope this is helpful to you, unlike the previous, totally uncalled for post.
