Easy Jet Schedules for 2006 Released

I received some email a couple of hours ago from EasyJet which announced the release of the 2006 schedules for summer flights.

Thanks, Bob. Getting ready to check them out now, not so much for skeds as for '06 prices.

I'll be spending Spring Quarter 2006 attending school in Dubrovnik, Croatia and traveling parts of Europe after. I see the Easy Jet Schedules are relaeased and I've found flights I want to use.
However, I've only heard of RyanAir thus far and would like to know how you like Easy Jet. Any catches I should be aware of? I know I'll have to cut back on luggage. I just don't konw anyone to ask - any comments or suggestions would be great.

Both Ryan and Easy Jet are great, I've flown both several times. No worries.

Quartknee: We flew Easyjet from Roe to London. On time, and excellent friendly/professional in-flight service! Book asap, as prices do go up the closer you get to the travel date. Bon voyage and good luck with your studies!

Sorry, meant ROME not "roe"
You'll love Dubrovnik.
Bob_Brown, thanks so much for the information re flight schedules! A great money-saver for those of us planning Europe trips in 2006, in order to book well in advance at the lowest possible prices.

Easy Jet is great. I have flown them to and from London to and from Barcelona, Madrid and Prague. Generally I got in ahead of schedule. They operate in a similar manner to Ryan Air -- when everyone is on the plane, they go if they have clearance, even if it's 15 mins. early! I've had absolutely no problems with either airline (I've flown RyanAir as well). Easy Jet tends to be a tad more expensive (but still really cheap), but it usually flies into the main airport in most cities, while Ryan Air tends to fly to smaller airports farther away in larger cities. As the above poster said, no worries, go for it!!!

Hi Bob,

I flew from Paris to Toulouse on Easy Jet this past fall. Absolutely no problem. Reserve early for best rates.

Thank you all for your quick posts! I feel much more comfortable and exciting to start booking my flights.

ONE more question first: What are the baggage restrictions? I cannot find much info on the website. However, it seems the lxwxh are described for the carry on bag and simply a weight restriction of about 44lbs on checked baggage?! Please help so I know how I'll need to pack to use there service for flights!

Thanks again to all.

Here's the info:

http://www.easyjet.com/EN/Planning/baggage.html

I think they are a little better than RyanAir about baggage, but still stricter than American airlines and probably make a fortune off of baggage fees.

Cabin baggage (carry-on):

Checked baggage:

Most people packing in a vaguely reasonable fashion will not come anywhere near the limits, absent special business or medical or shopping requirements.
