Eastern Europe, been home 2 months...
Feeling so guilty, I haven't even started a TR. and worse my journal keeping was very spasmodic . But I've just been asked by a friend to recommend a villa we stayed at in Tuscany a few years ago. So I went straight to my TR fom that trip and there it was.
So now im feeling really bad .......... So I will start it this week. Here's a taster......
Flew into Frankfurt.
Spent a week driving the 'Romantic Road' in Germany .
Train to Budapest.
Flew to krakow, then Prague.
Then flew to Moscow, then by train to st Petersburg.
Flew to Vienna and finally caught the train back to frankfurt.
High lights...
The most amazing hotel in a convent. Outside Munich.
Krakow was a beautiful surprise.
Auswich was more moving than i could have imagined.
Seeing Russia was eye opening, beautiful & very surprising.
Riding bikes around Vienna was an awesome experience.
Made new friends in Frankfurt.
So I now promise to do a TR........

I am heading ou to Krakow tomorrow. I definitely could had benefited from your report...
No worries, I never post trip reports and choose to "piece-meal" the advice for when somebody asks specifics. I do enjoy trip reports, but not the ones where the poster writes EVERY bite of food they put in their mouth, even when is scrambled eggs for breakfast. YIKES!
Please post a more detailed outline with websites as references, then you shall be forgiven!

<< Krakow was a beautiful surprise. >>
I couldn't agree more. It's one of my favorite cities!
I'm always pleased with myself when I've spent the time and effort to write a trip report since I benefit from it for years.
Viajero2 - hope you enjoy Krakow!

Trip reports, while really a Lot of work, are wonderful time capsules and I find we return to ours time and time again. Took me almost 9 months to compile all those notes, postcards, receipts, emails, etc. in to a report. But it was like taking the vacation all over again
. Looking forward to reading!
