Easter Sunday
My husband and I are going to be in Rome on Easter. This was not planned. I will be working at FCO the 9th to the 14th and we are trying to sneak in a few days early. Anyone have any suggestions about what we can do since I assume everything will be closed?

hi, amy,
we arrived in Rome late on Easter sunday afternoon last year. We had no problem finding a cab, restaurants open, etc. the next day, Easter Monday, the forum and colosseum were open, and by the Tuesday, the only places closed were attractions that normally close on mons, like the Castel san Angelo.
if you are staying in an apartment, you might not be able to buy any milk or bread on sunday evening if you're in anapartment, so asking your agency/owner
to get you a few things would be sensible.
Have a great time,
regards, ann

hi, amy,
as i said before, there is lots open in Rome on easter monday. although there are loads of people, one of the advantages is that wherever there are so many tourists, there are people wanting to make money out of them!
