Early morning travel (7am!) to British Museum
We are taking a tour of the Cotswolds with International Friends Tours and need to meet them at the British Museum by 7:20am. I know it's early but it was an area we wanted to see and are willing to sacrafice some sleep to fit it in. We are staying at St. Katharine's and according to the Citymapp app one option would be to take the bus #25 (32 min) or tube (42 min).
My question is should we risk taking a bus (do they run that early on a Wednesday morning?) or would a cab be a better choice. Do cabs 'hang out' at the Docklands??
Thanks!

Here's the bus timetable, Marlene:

looks as if the no 25 runs all night.
if you don't fancy that, you could book a car service - though you probably could find a cab at time of the morning, you couldn't bank on it.

If you are staying in the Marina - easy peasy. Walk the VERY short distance to the Tower hotel. There are usually cabs there all hours. And by the slim chance none are there, the doorman can get you one in short order. (My guess there will be an actual queue of taxis then to get folks to various airports for early flights)
In fact we did that last Monday morning - we had an early train from Kings Cross (though not quite as early as you are talking about - we wanted our driver by 07:00). Our driver hadn't shown up - we waited ten extra minutes then walked to the hotel - depending on where your flat is its only a 2 to 5 minute walk. There were 5 cabs standing.

Yes. Plenty of people have to get to work that early.
