Dublin to Dun Laoughaire on a Sunday

We would like to have a taxi or private car take us from St. Stephens Green hotel to Carlisle Pier in Dun Laoughaire. Probably not a train because of luggage. Will a taxi work?
Any idea on cost?

Googling shows it's only about 7 miles, so taxi seems reasonable.

Tony....I've tried to contact them 2 times on their website. I get an immediate electronic response that they will contact me soon. But nothing after that

There are taxi ranks on St. Stephen's Green, and there is no shortage of taxis in daytime. No need to pre-book.

I'd expect the fare to be €15-20, but that's just a rough guess.

More like 20 to 30 euro with premium rate fare on Sunday.

Sounds like we can wait until we are there. Price seems fair for the convenience.

I had overlooked that it was a Sunday. I ran your trip through a taxi fare estimator, and it came up with a range €18.20 to €29.80 - depending on traffic. Alec's estimate seems better than mine, but if traffic is very light, I might win.
