Need a good b&b in Dublin suburb, preferably on the Naas Road area with easy access to city center

Why would you want to stay on the Naas Road - it's so unatractive? I'd say Moran's Red Cow Hotel is okay, as is Louis Fitzgerald Hotel, or a bit further down the road, Bewley's Hotel. All are pretty soulless and there's very little in the way of pubs or any kind of nightlife around. Access to the city centre is good, via the Luas tram (although that particular Luas line can be unsafe at night).

If you decide on central Dublin, 13 Leeson Court is a good B&B.

thanks, I chose the Naas road for auto convenience to my relatives outside of Dublin and the potential for the Luas. Your observations are appreciated. Any other B&B nearby towns that you would recommend. I am travelling with my son (40)his first time in Ireland and I want him to have the B&B experience so unique in Ireland

I agree with comments on the Naas Road area. If you decide on staying in town, I can highly recommend Staunton's-on-the Green..across the road from St. Stephen's Green, walk everywhere...

I would suggest that while the B&B experience is worthwhile in rural Ireland, if you're staying in a city, you get better value in a hotel. Regarding the Luas, that particular line is notorious for - well, let's just say antisocial behaviour - and I for one really dislike travelling on it and would avoid it like the plague after dark. Your better option is staying in the city centre.
