Dublin airport layover Christmas Day
On Christmas Day I am flying through Dublin to Berlin. Aer Lingus just changed my departure time to Berlin. I now arrive in Dublin at 5:20 a.m. and don't leave for Berlin until 3 p.m. (it was about 11 before, I think).
I can hang out at the airport with a book, but does anyone have any better suggestions? I don't know the airport or what Xmas day is likely to be like in Dublin (sleepy, I suspect)? Still if the weather is okay, at least I could walk around and get fresh air. I think I'll be able to check my bag thru if it isn't already (I don't remember what the drill was the last time I flew through Dublin) so I'm not sure I'll need a place to keep it.
Any advice from those of you who are familiar with the airport & place?

Malahide would be a nice walk or take the bus into town and walk through St Stephens, down Grafton. Some of the hotels will have bars open and maybe you could get lunch. Check out lovindublin.com
