I too have experienced really dangerous drivers in Croatia. They drive very fast on windy roads and pass on blind curves. Driving is a great way to see the country, but I always fear for an accident when driving on the coastal road. The number of grave markers with candles and flowers along the roadside show that there are many deaths due to traffic accidents.
