Driving from Germany to Switzerland--Advice Needed

It's about 200 miles from Munich to Zurich & then about another 50 miles to Lucerne, so figure about 5 hours. It will be 4 lane most of the way & you really don't get into the higher elevations. Head toward Lindau on Lake Constance & around through Bregenz. It's one of the most scenic drives you can take in Europe.

About Vignette<BR>If you are driving a rental car, check on the windscreen to see if there's a vignette for 2002 stuck on it. It's a small plastic sticker the size of a matchbox with the picture of a motorway bridge and 2002 printed on it. I find many rental cars from surrounding countries have it already
