Domino's Leaves Italy

Domino's is quitting Italy. Apparently, you can't make a living selling pizza in Italy. Either that, or just maybe Domino's pizza isn't up to Italian tastes.

Riddle: What is the difference between a Domino's pizza and a Domino's pizza box?
Answer: The cardboard box tastes better.

Not surprising at all. However, there is a YouTube channel I enjoy watching called "Pasta Grammar" (Italian wife/cook and American husban/videographer), and on one of their trips to Italy, they checked out Domino's over there, and found that it was better than what you get over the US. Evidently, still not good enough to make it in that market, but it was an interesting video to see how chains try to cater their offerings, somewhat, to local demands.

I love reading news like this! Now, let's hope, as already mentioned above, that they can give the boot to McDonalds, Burger King, Starbucks, and more; and thereby set a good example for other countries to ponder seriously.
