You stayed at the new Hilton Molino Stucky? I just read about the opening at that hotel-wow! La Fenice orchestra, dancers suspended on wires, all the big wigs from Hilton, the mayor of Venice of course, and they gave all the different dishes that were served at the dinner prepared by the Venetian executive chef-sounded real fine!

Well, of course, we weren't present for all that... but the hotel is amazing. Our view was of the canal (not the Grand Canal, as it is on Guidecca). But it wasn't hard at all to traverse the canal and be in the center... took just minutes by the Hilton's private boat. The whole experience was magical. I would recommend the Hilton Molino Stuckey very highly. If you're a Hilton Honors member with status, they treat you quite well. I am a Diamond, and got an upgrade to a suite with a fantastic view, two rooms, and privliges in the executive lounge. We couldn't have been happier with the hotel.
