They didn't in the past, but I think there has been such demand for it that they have the service about a year ago. Trenitalia now lists Orvieto as having luggage storage. I was there last fall and there didn't appear to be the normal type facility (such as signs pointing to storage room) as the station is small. There was a sign saying storage was available and it seemed you would just be leaving your luggage with the ticket agents.

Scroll down to Orvieto - deposito bagagli is checked.

Coincidentally, there was a recent thread on this topic:

There's a nearby hotel that will store bags if the station won't and one of the posters promises an update.

I was there in May and saw no luggage storage. They told me there are two hotels nearby that will store luggage, like what annw said.

Who told you? The ticket agents?

Did you see a sign (smallish) about luggage by the ticket window? There is no luggage storage room (the station isn't that big), but there was a sign about luggage storage. I assume you arrange it with the ticket agents.

Actually it was actually he, the ticket agent. He spoke good english and told me there are two hotels few hundred yards from the station that will store luggage.
As for the sign, I didn't see any, althogh I wasn't trying hard to look for it.
