does anyone know of a really cheap hotel close to CDG???

Hello. My boyfriend and I have scewed up our plans a little and need a hotel right by the CHARLES de GAULLE airport the night of Jan 10th. Because this is OUT of our budget and plans, we are 2 students and really have no money left. Any ideas of a cheap hotel that is close enough to the airport, we have to leave in the morning and dont want to commute too far. Thanks!

There is a Formula 1 hotel near CDG Airport at 29 Euros ($39) per room per night. I'm not sure of the exact location but check it out on http://www.hotelformule1.com/formule...he_hotel.shtml
They are a CHEAP chain of hotels but clean and fairly comfortable.

...there's a huge IBIS hotel right at CDG - a shuttle goes right to the terminals. Probably around $100/nt.

The current rate for the Ibis on a weekday night is 86 Euros ($114) for a room.

See what you may be able to get on Priceline, but go to biddingfortravel.com first.

Heads up about using Priceline in this location. I'm usually a vocal advocate for PL, but if you bid on anything less than a four-star at CDG, you're likely to get a hotel that's far from the airport and you'd have to take a taxi to/from the hotel. The PL folks, in all their wisdom, have shot themselves in the foot on this one, having rendered using PL for an inexpensive hotel room at CDG totally useless. One wonders why on earth they would do that. Biddingfortravel has an alert on their website in the CDG hotel section.
