Does anyone know Nottingham street in london?

Hi everyone
We are renting a 2 bedroom apartment in london that is on nottingham street. Is that considered a safe area? Is it close to shops and resturants? Can I walk from there to oxford street?

It's close to Regent's Park, don't know about restaurants in the area...and if you like walking it's not that far maybe 15-20 minutes

Look it up on streetmap.co.uk

It's between Baker Street and Oxford Street (near Madam Tussaud's). Yes it's safe, and yes there are shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Not a bad area to stay at all.

As Kate says - you will be in a nice area near Baker St. It is a short walk from the Baker St station which is on four different Tube lines, so it is VERY convenient to get to any part of London.

Hi there... I am actually staying in Nottingham PLace NOT Nottingham street. Does that make it closer to oxford street? It's closeness to shops and resturants is important to me. Thanx.

Hi
Nottingham PL runs N-S. Nottingham St runs E-W. They intersect at the southern end of Nottingham St.

You are about 1 blk south of Marylebone Rd and 3 blks west of Baker St.

See www.multimap.com.

A search on www.google.com for "restaurants marylebone london" shows a number of restaurants, some of them quite good.
