Does any airline have smoking sections anymore?
I am a smoker (horrors!) and was wondering if there actually are any flights to Europe that allow smoking anymore. Going to France next spring, and I certainly can abstain for the length of the flight and always refrain from smoking near non-smokers. I thought I had heard a few years ago about an airline that had a "smokers" flight to Europe! (I don't think even I would want to take that though!) Just curious....

I´m sorry but I can´t give an help on your question.
I´m here only to give you full support for being only a smoker and not an outlaw or a serial killer, because I suspect that you´re going to get many stupid answers.
If you can´t find that airline, you can always buy some chewing tobbaco or nicotine drops.

This is going to turn ugly...
Before it does, two airlines allow smoking when leaving from the US:
Aeroflot, but you'd have to go to Moscow first.
Egyptair, but you'd have to go to Cairo first.
It has been my experience that some people (even the crew!)get away with it on Iberia and Alitalia.
On an Iberia trasatlantic flight (last year) I saw that the smoke detector was covered with the stickers used to seal the duty-free cart, and it smelled like tobacco smoke.

Air France had ( not sure if still has) a smokers section in its planes. Passengers can't smoke while seated, they have to go the this smoking section to light up one. ;-)
Alitalia still have some smoking flights, but mostly to/from Asia, or Mid East. None to/from America, that I know of.
