Do you know of a good trip report posted here (or have written one yourself)? I'd love to know about it...

Do you know of a good trip report posted here (or have written one yourself)? I'd love to know about it...
Hi...

As some of you know, I'm in the process of planning a two month backpacking trip through Europe. I've got the basics down (plane, Eurail, etc). Now I'm trying to read up on some places of interest.

I find many of the trip reports helpful here. However, finding them is sometimes a teary eyed process (computers for hours at a time is so hard on the eyes!).

At the risk of sounding lazy, can I ask if you remember a good report here? Anything entertaining and/or informative. I am searching for reports on Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Czech Rep, Hungary, Austria, Spain. If you could post the URL here it would be much appreciated. Or you could post what you remember of the title, and I will search for it. I am going on a business trip tomorrow for a week, and I would like to print these out to read on the plane with me...it will be a nice break from researching on the computer.

I've read quite a few reports (Leslie's on Hungary, Julie's on Czech Rep, Grasshopper's on Switz, etc), but I'm hoping that you may know of a more gems that I haven't found yet. Thanks in advance.

Being an Italia-phile I frequently read the threads on this country. There's been several good trip reports over the past year. I'll point out a recent one, written by Amy who visited Italy last month. URL =
http://www.fodors.com/forums/pgMessages.jsp?fid=2&tid=34376151&numrespo nses=58&start=0&searchText=trip+report
and it's titled "Trip Report: Just returned from Italy". Another regular poster on this forum, Elaine, has extensive files on the major cities in Italy and graciously shares her info with all who send her an email requesting same.
