Heh heh. No, Robespierre, no actual cash is needed to smooth my curly locks. Serves me right for not proofreading more closely, but even then I'm pretty sure that back to back currency and current would trip me up.

Hmm, I did use European currency to purchase this item.

Our suitcases are all stored in the closet in my son's bedroom.

I, too, keep my passport in a fireproof locked file cabinet. Along with all my checks, extra credit card and important papers and anything with my SS# on it.

My travel paraphernalia goes in my tote bag in my suitcase in the garage. Although, I have special section in my bottom drawer for clothes like silk underwear, gloves and wool socks that I need for winter travel.

I too have one drawer...in it, I keep
-the family passports
-international drivers permits
-cameras
-other ID we travel with. (my marriage cert. becasue, in Italy, all my info must be in my maiden name...bank account, etc....but ALL my ID is in my married name since that is my legal name in the US!)
-"travel" address book...which pretty much is a copy of my address book and includes all the "important" people in my life...and all my friends abroad...just in case...never know when there is an emergancy and you need to contact someone! it also has the phone numebrs for my banks, credit card customer service, etc. - I keep this info. onlinie in my email address book too...just in case I loose the book...at least I can get o a computer somewhere and get to it.
-wallet with extra Euros...don't bother changing extra each time (which is working out well...since each trip they are worth more and more ;-( )
-pocket Italian dictonary...becasaue, try as I might...I'm STILL not fluent! and it goes everywhere with me; I'd be lost without it!

We too have a drawer. It contains:

Travel alarm clock
Travel fan
moneybelts
adaptor kits (2)
luggage tags
Space bags
toiletry kits
And a few other misc. items

Our passports are kept in our fireproof safe (never want anything to happen to them!)

We have another drawer full of toiletry items (sample size perfumes, shampoos, conditioners, soaps, etc.)
