Do you have any suggestion of the Eurotrip route?

I think the point is that 8 cities in 22 days gives you very little time to see them when you factor in travel time from one place to another. I could see picking 6 so I could spend just a little more time in each place.
Definitely fly into one city and out of the one at the end of your itinerary to save backtracking. On travel websites, in the search for a flight box, you have choices for round trip, one-way, or multi-city. Choose multi-city to book this kind of trip. Do not rent a car, because as palenque says, it is a liability in cities. Just take the train.

my other problem with these sorts of trips is that people concentrate on cities to the exclusion of everything else. not only are cities not representative of the whole of a country, but visiting just cities can easily lead to "culture overload" so that it soon becomes difficult to remember what you saw where - just where IS the sistine Chapel?
a trip that combines a number of different elements will not only give a better overall impression of a country, but also make experiences more memorable. As will allowing time for sitting and staring, [or even just sitting] rather than belting from museum to gallery without a break.

What we are saying is that most 'normal' people would not/could not be bored after 3 days>
OK bored was not the proper word - but itching to see something else they have dreamt about their whole lives - ready to move on and not bored - so yes that was a poor word choice.

It's not going to matter what advice you give the OP as she hasn't been back in a week since she originally posted. We're simply arguing among ourselves.>>
isn't that why many [most?] of us are here?
