OK - I'm still not clear what you are trying to say - Edgware Rd is essentially Paddington/Bayswater (it is only a few blocks away)

Good idea to see if you can change to a hotel in the city. There should still be affordable rooms in good locations. There's a relatively cheap Travelodge at Marylebone, which is only two Tube stops/short taxi ride to Paddington to get the Heathrow Express in the morning. Accessible by Tube from Heathrow too.

Why do people think other posters are so insecure or weak minded they would be put off by one or two posts. During the course of a week, we all run into one or two people who are not nice. There are plenty of reasonable responses based on experience which far outnumber the rude ones.
