Do I need a Visa for a Paris-Rome trip?
Hi. I was reading the state dept travel site and it said I am ok without visa to either France or Italy, but if going from Paris to Rome I might want to find out if there is any problem. I have a US passport, leaving from DC. Thanks is u can help me!

There is no such information that I can find on the US State Department site. No visa is necessary for ordinary travel to France/Italy of less than 90 days.

You'll find no passport control between France and Italy as both are members of the Schengen compact. A flight between any two Schengen nations is treated as as domestic travel.

Thank each of you very much!! Sometimes when you read these visa restrictions on different sites, sometimes they're not 100% clear and leaves you imagining yourself being held from boarding the plane!! Thx again
