distances between european cities

I would like to find distances between several cities in Europe to aid in planning our next trip this September. I have an atlas that gives the distances between major cities but not the smaller ones. At mapquest and other map sites you need specific addresses but at this time I don't have any addresses in mind. Mostly we just drive to a city and stop at Tourist Information and book our lodgings. Any help would be appreciated.
We are landing in Switzerland and plan to visit Germany, Austria and Venice.

I have used mapquest many times without putting an address. If you just put the name of the city it defaults to the center of town. Give it a try.

As the others say - you don't need full addresses to do mileage checks on most of the sites. Just because there are fields for complete addresses, doesn't mean you have to fill them all in. Just enter as much as you have - i.e. post codes if applicable, or city names, or rail stations, or airports or whatever.

Thank you all. Didn't know you could just enter a city. Have already tried and it works. This will make planning much easier!
