Good point, AGM. If we go to Philou, should we save a seat (or two) for you?
OK, there are a bunch of suggestions here. I have been to Philou and loved it and plan to go back on this trip if possible, so that might be an idea for our group.
I have not been to Le Petit Pontoise, L'Estrepade, Lilane, Reed, Bistrot d'Henri or Le Souffle. I will take a look at them.
Anyone have any preferences?
Wo, you eat out in Paris a lot? Any favorites that would be fun for a group?
One thing about this thread is it's making my lislt of places to try longer. So many restaurants, so little time.

Philou is probably a lot cheaper than any of the other places that were mentioned - without wine, of course.
Le Petit Cambodge is just around the corner from Philou - actually, there are two of them. Very good Vietnamese food.

Our gathering is being planned for Tuesday, March 21.
Rosiecaro, does this mean you are not going to be in Paris then?
I am going to propose Philou. Nobody has objected so far, I loved it the one time I was there, and we are told it is probably the most economical of our choices.
Everyone who has responded, please weigh in and tell us whether you will be there and whether Philou will work for you.. Thanks!

I will be in Paris in a week and have discovered a snag in my plans for dinner on the 21st. Likely I won't make it, but, will try to work on it after I arrive. I'll be in touch if I can see you all........will keep watching.....also, I'll be in Paris for a bit afterwards....into April....hopefully there will be another opportunity to meet.....disappointed
