Dining suggestions Westminster

My family will be spending 4 nights in London and we are staying in the Westminster area. Any dining suggestions would be helpful. We do appreiciate fine dining and a variety of cuisines.

There is nowhere to eat in Westminster. You have to leave. I'm pretty sure I'm not exaggerating, here.

There are a few pubs, but not a whole lot of dining choices in Westminster. Which hotel are you staying at?

But not to worry... We've found that we normally just end up eating wherever we happen to be touring at meal time.

Try The Cinnamon Club which is in the Old Westminster Library
http://www.cinnamonclub.com/welcome.cfm - a personal favourite, though pricey (so only for special occasions for me - or when someone else is paying!!)

Otherwise this link will give you information on other restaurants in the area. As Sheila says though, there's not a great deal in Westminster, but it's close enough to wander to many, many other places!

Do you really mean the area immediately around Westminster Abbey - which is a bit short of good restaurants, but is also almost completely devoid of hotels?

But is about a 10 minute walk from just about everywhere in the West End.

Or do you mean the City of Westminster, which is the authority that covers a huge proportion of what many visitors think of as London, about a million people (with about 150 mother tongues in its school system), most of London's good restaurants and more different cuisines than probably anywhere else in the world?
