Dijon restaurant question
Arriving at hotel near Darcy Garden late afternoon. Anyone have a restaurant suggestion not too far away, or easy to get to by taxi?
Attractive, inviting room to dine in, not extremely fancy but not pub food either. These 2 have been suggested by friends but The Fodorites opinions are always the best.
Gril’laure, Place Saint Benigne
Le Grand Taverne, Ave.Marechal

Le chapeau rouge is now a 2 stars Michelin. Close to it tou havé la dame d'aquitaine - splendid. The chef made a Rubik' cube with chocolate of différent Colors stuffed with different sorbets. And you eat in the basement of a church. Amazing.

Taverne is a feminine word, that's an odd name for a French restaurant if that is really what it is. I presume that is ave Marechal Foch.
The restaurant inside the Quality Hotel at place Darcy is very good and a very nice atmosphere.

The Caveau de la Guillaume looks quite interesting, we’ll keep it on the list.......Thanks Christina
ahbonvrainment......good suggestions but a little too gourmet for a dinner after a long day of touring.
