Can you translate for me please? :
<begets the Q > and <Do the English nick the TP?>
To answer your question about the nationalities, if you check my website guest book you'll see they are mostly English speakers.
Unlike the gites in the countryside around Dijon which get many Belgians, Dutchs, Germans, Swiss, I have very few Europeans.

If I want to summarize, May/June for the Americans, July/August for the Britishs, Sept/Oct for the Americans again and Canadians, November/ December for the Australians (not this year, they came any month in particular and November is 100% French) and all of them are very nice. Voilà!

Aw Coco some gotta be nicer than the others - but a prudent proprietor of course would not tell

<begats the Q)

begat means to bring to mind the Q

Do the English 'nick' the TP - do they steal Toilet Paper on their way out?

Sylvain jusqu'a partir pour France pour une visite des plusiers semaines! Je veux que je pourrait accompagne lui.

best regards PalQ

"begets the Q"

He means "engendre la question" or "me fait poser la question."

Cigale- if i am on Coco's site i am not aware of it - see no reason i should be.

Coco - it has been explained jahoulih - 'begat' comes from or at least is associated with the Bible

adam begat eve who begat jonas who begat

... gave birth to

begat the Q

gave me the idea or caused to bring up the question

You did not answer the bit about Brits 'pinching' the TP' - Being PC i guess?

anyways looking forward to our Feb 29th meeting at Quai numero Q in big gare de Dijon.

Une bonne Vacanelles a tu et toi famille!

(I am only going to France in January and early Feb, not now - my son, Sylvain left a few days ago to spend time at home with his maman.

No have not had the pleasure - but i've corresponded here with Coco for some time and have read all the posts and decide to mention it as a good value unique type of place in a city many folk often overlook.

I hope to meet Coco some day though - i will be day tripping in from Orleans however, where my son grew up and i stay, just for the day.

Ta Ta

Coco - if the Brits never nicked your TP then you may need to reconsider the quality of your TP!

(just joking in case others don't know it)

See you Feb 29th - quai numero G -11:15

We actually stayed in Barking about 7 years ago! Last year it was the Docklands and this time we are testing Euston and Covent Garden Travelodge.

your kids may love the Talking Lion in trafalgar square - on the famous 4th Pillith (sp/) - the one that was empty and now features weird things - like for a few years the statue of a pregnant naked handicapped lady and now a Lion statue that talks to you.

check it out!

bonne route!

Bonjour Pal! et bonne année!
We were completely frozen in London (and I hate that!)then we didn't see everything we wanted. I've just booked again at the Travelodge Covent Garden (29£!)for late April with only one of my sons this time. 2 nights only but this time I hope to able to wander late at night in the city I love! I hope the SNCF website will cooperate...
It is very cold in Dijon now, frost everywhere. My last guests from Australia were happy anyway with the sun and they even went to Kir lake on foot! bbrrrr!
See you in Feb! ;-)
