I am arriving on US Airways from the U.S. I have a reservaton 2 hours later on Easy Jet leaving from Terminal 1. Is there any difficulty in moving between the two in 2 hour time frame?.

Will you have checked bags? If so, you will need to wait for those then drop them off with Easy jet by their cutoff time, which I believe is 40min.

Will you have checked in @ easy jet online beforehand? If not, you will need to be at checkin (at the desk, not in line) by the cut off.

I can't speak for Madrid, but I know of no airport in the world where it takes 90min to get from one gate to another. Easyjet gates close 30min before departure.

US Airways also arrives at Terminal 1 , so you should be ok unless your US flight is very delayed.

Since you will not be traveling on a connecting ticket (US Airways-Easy Jet), at least that is the assumption since US Airways would be responsible if you missed a tight connection, it will be very difficult to make a two-hour connection for several reasons.

Depending on how many flights are arriving in the same time period, how long the lines are at passport control and how long it takes to collect your luggage, two hours will not be enough time. Once you clear customs, you have to reenter the ticketing area of T1 to check in with Easy Jet, check your luggage and get our boarding pass. After that, you then have to clear security to get into the departures area and to your gate before it closes.

Personally, having passed through Madrid-Barajas at least two dozen times in the last two years alone, I'd look at nothing less than 4 hours to make a connection on an international flight. For a domestic flight, one hour, if they are in the same terminal. Three if you have to change terminals (T1 to T4).

If your USAir flight is on time you'll make it ok otherwise it's a gamble. I suggest purchasing trip interruption insurance (or you might even have it on some Gold Cards) in case you don't make the EasyJet flight. Neither USAir nor EasyJet are liable in this case.
