I visited Greece in 1995 and fell in love with it! Hopefully I will be able to return some day. <BR><BR>I was there in the latter part of June. I live in the southern part of the U.S. so I am used to heat, but it really got to me there. You will definitely want to do anything that includes any amount of exercise early in the day.

All that has been said about Greece may be OK, but I think a more important consideration is: How does Greece compare with other nearby areas. There I think you will find that Turkey wins hands down over Greece for at least three reasons: First, the Turkish people are much much more friendly to tourists than Greeks. Second, your money will go much further in Turkey. And third, Turkey actually has more ancient Greek and Roman ruins than does Greece.<BR><BR>Roger, been to both
