Day trip from Paris to Normandy
Need recommendations for tour companies names that you have used recently. We are a couple and prefer group under 12 people. Who did you use that provided an informative and comfortable tour. Thanks

I took a trip to Giverny using Paris Trips and enjoyed it very much. They offer this trip you may be interested in -

Where in Normandy? I assume you mean the D-Day beaches? That is one very long daytrip (as in 16+ hours, most of it on a bus). I've never done it as a daytrip because I couldn't tolerate that, but I believe ParisVision (it may have a new, similar name, not sure) is pretty well known for those trips. If you can possibly manage it, though, go and spend a ay or two there and do it by train - pick up a tour when you get there.

I did it as a day trip and it was very enjoyable. I did it on my own, though, with the tour group leaving from Bayeux, and just took a train to/from Bayeux myself. Unless you have some mobility problems, you might consider that option. From Paris, it would not be a 16+ hr trip with most on a bus, though, those tours are around 12-14 hours total (and I spent about that time doing it on my own, actually).
The drive is less than 3 hrs one way, by car or bus. So it would be about 6 hrs for the transportation to/from Paris to, I presume, Bayeux where a professional guide would take over. In fact, due to timing, the train would take almost the same time each way (2:42). At least going, you have to transfer in Caen in order to get there a bit before 1 pm. Day of the week matters are there are some better schedules on some days than others. For example, on Fridays, the train leaves around 8:30 am and you'd get there at 11:10 (TERs). That's the one I took as that gave me time to see the tapestry and have a bit to eat before meeting the tour agency at around 1 pm in central Bayeux. I think my train back was around 6-7 pm. So I was gone maybe 8 am to 9:30 pm or so. Of course, the train trip isn't arduous, I don't mind relaxing in a train for a few hours.
I know at least two excellent local tour groups, so that's why I suggest that, I used Normandy Sightseeing TOurs and they were simply outstanding. The group was just in a small van, so not too big (maybe 6-8 people). I know Overlord tours also does those well.
IN any case, if you do really want the whole package from Paris, there are not a lot of companies that do that as it is not a common desire from Paris These are the only ones I know

I did use Parisvision once some years ago for a different tour and that one was excellent, for what that's worth. The last website is a French one, so check the language used. My tour was bilingual (the guide fluent in English and French), which is probably common, that website gives info in English so must have some English tours, if that is an issue.
