Are you actually asking about Eastern DAYLIGHT Time? (observed in most of the eastern US for 5 more days) - - or do you really mean EST (observed in Indiana all year long - - currently identical to CENTRAL Daylight time - - i.e., current "Chicago time")?

I am not entirely sure if Italy has changed from Daylight to standard yet or not.

When both are on standard time, the difference is 6 hours.

Best wishes,

Rex
Italy changes back to standard time this weekend, just like the US. Thus, the time difference will remain at 6 hours between the east coast and Italy.
