Ok, here's one for the UK Fodorites....
Does anyone know where I can change Euro coins back to sterling? Neither my bank nor the PO will take anything but notes. I've quite a large sum in 2E pieces, so don't really want to hang onto them till my next trip if possible.....
Thanks.

A few suggestions:
Give them to charities
Sell them to someone going to Euroland soon
Use them in some BT payphones that take 50c, 1€ and 2€ coins (1€=60p)
Use coin conversion machines - seen on cross-channel ferries (terrible rate, like 1€=50p)

Didn't know about the payphones, so thanks for that tip. 8-)
Managed to offload them at Thomas Cook Bureau de Change in the local travel agent this afternoon - not the greatest rate but apparently they'll take anything upward of 1E coins - so I'm happy with that result!
