Something to keep in mind for anyone who does't already know; you won't actualy get the offical rate for your money. Figure at least 3-7% less. The offical rate is a wholesale rate and the banks and anyone else in between also takes a cut.

tatersalad, that's not universally true. The exchange bureau I use charges exactly 2% over the interbank rate, with no other fees. My credit card fees for Euro charges range from 2-2.75% over the interbank rate. My ATM card charges 1% plus a $3 CAD fee per withdrawal.
