No, the Swiss Franc ("CHF") is still the official currency in Switzerland. I suppose a certain number of places will take euros. Or dollars or pounds. Or yen. Or other foreign currency. yes we still use & honour the swiss franc and will do so for years to come. But, fiy, in most touristic places euro notes (no coins) are accepted and change is given in francs. I'm not sure, but the exchange course has to be bad - you will profit when you change at a bank or at the train station.<BR>Even the big retailers (Coop, Migros) accept Euros (I'll try sometime when I get my first Euro notes)<BR>simon from bern, ch
